This website, https://www.dasiz.co.uk, is operated by Dasiz Solutions, an electronic design consultancy based in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal information collected through this site. You can contact us about anything in this policy at admin@dasiz.co.uk.
What personal data we collect and why
Contact form. When you send an enquiry through our contact page, we collect your name, email address and the contents of your message. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and to discuss any project that follows from it. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. Your message is delivered to our email mailbox; it is not stored in a database on this website and is never used for marketing without your separate agreement.
Cookies. This site asks for your consent before setting any non-essential cookies. Strictly necessary cookies (such as the one that remembers your cookie choice) are always active. Optional cookies — such as analytics — are only set if you accept them, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the cookie icon shown on every page. Site administration. WordPress sets login cookies for site administrators only. Normal visitors never receive these.

Who we share your data with
We do not sell or trade your personal data. Your information is handled by the service providers that run this website on our behalf: our web hosting provider (which hosts the site and processes server logs, including IP addresses, for security) and our email provider (which delivers contact form enquiries to us). If you consent to analytics cookies, anonymised usage data is processed by our analytics provider.
How long we retain your data
Contact form enquiries are kept in our mailbox for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and for our business records — normally no longer than two years after our last contact with you. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a short period for security purposes.
What rights you have over your data
Under UK data protection law you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email admin@dasiz.co.uk — we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at https://ico.org.uk if you believe we have mishandled your data.
